Q: My phone has a blinking message light and says "MSG from" or "MSG to", what does this mean and how do I fix it?

A: Dial 773 from either phone to clear the message. When you call another extension, a soft key will display MW, pressing this key will leave a message on the phone you called. Pressing '0' during a call will also do this.


Q: How do I change my office's main greeting on my voicemail?

A: Depending on what voicemail you have, the most common way to change it is to access your voicemail from your main phone (ext. 100). From there, chose to leave a message to extension 200 (the voicemail pilot.) In here if it asks to switch to your alternate greeting, choose no. Follow the voice prompts to change your day and night greetings.


Q: Our office is going to be closed for a conference, how do I leave a main greeting for this without replacing my normal greeting?

A: Following the above steps, have your main greeting switch to the alternative greeting and record it. When you return from your extended leave, just switch it back to the normal greeting, but don’t re-record it. You can also do this to your personal voice mail account.


Q: How do I change my system day / night mode?

A: From any phone dial 718, then press 1 for day mode, 2 for night mode, 3 for alternate mode, etc.


Q: How do I adjust the time on my system?

A: From any phone dial 728 then enter the time in military format, i.e: for 8:25 AM dial 728 0825. For 5:25 PM dial 728 1725.
